I am from The Film Society of Lincoln Center and I would like to let you know about our upcoming series, [b]Wounded Pride, Simmering Passion: Roberto Gavaldon[/b], screening August 22-28 at Walter Reade Theater. Since he began his career in the late 1920s, Mexican filmmaker Roberto Gavaldon has infused his work with intricate visuals and complex storylines. We celebrate his legacy as a wise, multi-faceted director in this series. Among the films is the Oscar-nominated Macario. Hope to see you there!!
